Calendars, Custom Decorations & Cards
Although I make many custom decorations and customized cards as shown above, my main focus is on weekly calendars that can be packaged either completely unassembled so you can put them together from scratch with your family, or on your own to surprise everyone! Or if you have more passion than time for creativity, I will send them 99% completed; leaving you with only filling in the week's important events.
My calendars
are made to be weekly, that's the first part of our name, and the logic
part is the ‘saying of the week’; an inspirational quotation or a phrase
to help your children discover and understand the important life lessons
that we rarely find time to teach, but every child should learn.
I am so excited to start sharing my calendar creations as kits for you to finish, and I want you to know that you will love these calendars, and as years go by they will become a precious journey back in time whenever you get them out to reflect on or show off to family and friends. I already find myself using them as handy references for when we did this or that!
Each month I will send you all the stickers, embellishments and paper you will need along with ‘weekly logic’ and instructions so you too can create a fabulous weekly calendar for your family.
Putting these together has been a real enjoyment especially now that my
kids are older as they love helping me. Just two years ago I felt
my children slipping away as they grew older and became more
independent, but by working together to fill in each week's themes and
events, I am now more involved in their school and social schedules than
ever! And as we fill in each sleep over or school field trip, it
gives me a chance to discuss how my children should conduct themselves
at the different events; even more important it gives us a chance to
discuss various ideas on how they might be better prepared to handle
life's tough choices if and when they are confronted with any.
